Bragg Creek Ladies Auxiliary

Throughout history ladies auxiliaries served their communities in war and peace. In war by looking after food, clothing and supplies for the regiments in the field. Often they looked after the wounded supporting the field surgeons in their grim task. After war they fulfilled the very important roles of looking after veterans and their families needs. This was long before government took on these roles. Then there are those ladies auxiliaries that are based on their husbands professions, union membership,  retirement activities or just in good old community spirit.

Today, the Bragg Creek Community Association is proud of their Ladies Auxiliary and the support those ladies provide to the community.

The Bragg Creek Ladies Auxiliary is a fellowship of women that was formed to serve in an altruistic manner, specifically as an arm of the Bragg Creek Community Association, and generally for the community of Bragg Creek as a whole.

hrough dedication and hard work of many hands joining together as one, to make the load lighter and the rewards of fellowship greater. Their accomplishments over the years have been many. They have built and stocked the two kitchens that were destroyed by the fire in 1998. They also have provided paving stones to  beautify the Bar-B-Que and fire pit areas. Their hard work in the kitchen continues as they are working on restocking the new kitchen. Their work has touched every member of the community at one time or another. You can see them work the counters or the kitchen at meetings,  events and memorial services.

Their fellowship is organized and led by an elected board of directors. Minimal dues are charged for membership, there are no requirements for membership other then the desire to be useful. A good sense of humor and the enjoyment of fellowship as they work together to serve the community.

This ultimately leads to the betterment of our home area of Bragg Creek. Won't you join them?
